PMOD Tri-Color LED

This Digilent PMOD compatible peripheral module provides three tri-color RGB (red-green-blue) sign pixel type LEDs. The LEDs can create virtually any color as driven using a Maxim Integrated Products MAX6966 LED driver. This module is typically used to add a status indicator to an FPGA or processor development board, with an ability to present subtle 'mood' information. The LEDs are quite bright, so the module also provides a fun and satisfying introduction to the PMOD concept.
